The Society does this by providing information and advice through our helpline, speaker events, workshops and newsletters; by running social and leisure activities for children, adults and families; by targeting professionals working in the autism field with information, training, advice; by lobbying service providers with information and needs, sharing best practise and working together to develop appropriate services; by working with community bodies and being present at major events to inform, advise and encourage inclusion; by seeking publicity for ASD and BAS to grow understanding and acceptance of ASD.
